Hello...

This is the beginning of my weblog. I've been wanting to write this for some time now, inspired by the younger of my two fine sons (Philsown.com).

I plan to write about what's on my mind, as long as I don't think it will hurt anyone. And, of course, it will be somewhat politically correct - I am, after all, a faceless bureaucrat. Public policy and politics, health (my own issues, and "the system"), entertainment (movies and TV), music (acoustic rock a specialty), a little sports (oh, those Diamondbacks), you name it, all will be fair game.

Stay tuned....(I can hardly wait to tell Phil!)
